Workshops are a wonderful way to learn new skills, challenge ourselves, and meet professional people from all over the country. Some connections you make become friendships that last a lifetime. The Santa Fe Photographic Workshops are among the best places in the world to hone your photography skills and grow as a professional.
Our workshop was titled “Small Strobes, Big Results.” It was a technical class where we used our small flashes (as opposed to studio lights), to light scenes and models; we also coupled flashes with a variety of modifiers to shape our lighting in various ways. Sometimes we used gels to color our backgrounds or subjects, or to change the ambience of our scene.
Whether you want to work on a technical skill or simply find a place for creative inspiration, Santa Fe offers it all. And as a professional I know, there is always more to learn.

You are really very good. I particularly like the second image; the man with the stare.
