the fish eye and high school seniors

High school seniors rock. Especially this one. Galen is one of my most favorite seniors in Portland and he has also has spent many years playing music at the Portland School of Rock. So he literally rocks. He is bright, talented, charming and handsome. He also happens to be really fun. We opted to do some edgy fish eye shots as part of his senior portrait session. We found a great burned out building on the east side with no roof. A photographer’s dream! Fish eye lenses can be tricky. It is important to try and place your subject somewhere near the center of the image. If they are too close to the edge, they become very distorted. Not flattering for most people. Galen looks pretty awesome in all of these.
